Formed in 1988 as a steel stockholding business and operating out of
Wednesbury in the heart of the West Midlands; Hawthorn Trading has
a long history of quality service to companies throughout the UK. |

Continued growth in its core business created the opportunity to branch out into new markets and in 1998 the company developed a new facility and commenced production of steel scaffold boards and temporary hoarding systems, this was further complimented by a modern refurbishment facility for used fence panels.
In 2003 HTC outgrew their premises and relocated to a new purpose built 50,000 sq ft factory close by in Smethwick. With the Sales, Development and Production processes now on one site and space for further expansion, the company embarked on a comprehensive investment program of development and production technology and launched new product lines, one of which was an all galvanised pedestrian barrier. |
